Merit Badge Opportunities
The purpose of the Merit Badge program is to help the Scout learn about different fields of knowledge while having fun. The secret to successfully earning a merit badge is for the Scout to use both the merit badge book and the suggestions of the counselor. The counselor is as important as a coach is to the athlete. Use all of the resources available. This may be the best chance ever you will have to learn about a particular field of knowledge. B.S.A.
